Brandon Wright, Learner Advocate

Brandon Wright has expertise in case management, resource navigation, and youth, parent and community engagement. She is currently a Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness Coordinator with Aurora Public Schools. In this role, she works with a variety of stakeholders to increase student, parent, and educator awareness and access to opportunities and resources that will encourage informed decision-making, as it pertains to student’s individual hopes and dreams. Brandon has previously worked in the juvenile justice and mental health systems supporting at-risk youth and vulnerable adults. She has lived most of her life in Denver and Aurora. Brandon is the mother of two sons, age 15 and 19, who she says are the absolute joy of her life and motivation for everything she does. She is overjoyed to be a part of the ReSchool team as a Learner Advocate!

"Whether inside a big organization or working on their own, most young people will be managing projects after leaving school. We need to do a better job of preparing kids for a project-based world."
